Join the Friends of the East River State Park in celebrating I Love My Park Day. I Love My Park Day is an an exciting new statewide event to improve and enhance New York’s parks and historic sites and bring visibility to the entire park system and its needs.
All ages are welcome as we will work together in fence painting, resurfacing the playground with woodchips, and a park cleanup. Come be part of something special as we improve the environment surrounding East River State Park, as well as all of the other State Parks in New York. Bring water, snacks and a lunch to last a day’s long worth of fun volunteering activities and great weather to kick into the peak park season! Local sponsors: Home Depot, Target.
